St. Mary's and St. John's Cathedral was built between 1270 and 1416 and is a masterpiece of North German brick Gothic. It is the only true cathedral in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

You can climb the tower and enjoy wide views over the old town, the lakes and the castle.
